Donald Trump’s first address since Saturday’s assassination attempt was noticeably different than we’ve been used to seeing.
Former President Trump is calling for unity as he speaks for the first time since surviving an attempt on his life at the Pennsylvania rally. After accepting the Republican nomination for president in Milwaukee, Trump spoke out against political division and said Americans have to remember “we’re all fellow citizens.”
Trump said this would be the only time he would talk about the assassination attempt on his life.
Trump described the moment he realized he had been shot.
It was also a rare appearance by the former first lady, who has mostly been absent on the 2024 campaign trail.

In terms of the future plans, Trump told the crowd he’ll make the nation more prosperous, and strengthen the military.
