Winning Ticket Sold in Roberts

It was a good morning for Noah Lykens and his employer, Bob & Steve’s BP Amoco Shop, located at 541 Cherry Ln. in Roberts, Wisconsin. Shortly after the store manager started his shift, he learned his store had sold a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket for the Wednesday, July 10 drawing.

“It’s unbelievable,” said Lykens. “It’s hard to believe someone in our small town could win something like this.”

According to the most recent United States Census report, the population in Roberts is 2,082.

Lykens said the $50,000 winning ticket is the largest winning Lottery ticket the retailer has ever sold. The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (7 – 11 – 12 – 27 – 46) plus the Powerball (26).

“This is great for the store. A big win like this is a nice change for us.”

Roberts said Bob & Steve’s BP Amoco Shop customers enjoy playing a wide range of Wisconsin Lottery games.

“We sell quite a few Powerball and Mega Millions tickets, but we also have customers that enjoy the scratch tickets too.”
