The Eau Claire County woman who shot a gun at her boyfriend because he didn’t get his taxes done is not going to jail.
Prosecutors yesterday said Lily Hawkinson pleaded no contest to negligent handling of a weapon and disorderly conduct charges. More serious charges were dismissed. Police in Fall Creek say Hawkinson was drunk when she fired two shots near her boyfriend back in April. He wasn’t wounded, but ran out of the house. Hawkinson can see the charges dismissed entirely if she stays out of trouble for the next two years.
