There’s now an official disaster declaration following last week’s tornadoes.
Governor Evers issued a disaster order on Friday. The order now makes it easier for local governments to get help from the state to pay for clean-up and emergency response. It also allows the state to call-in the National Guard if need be. Last week’s storms produced nearly a dozen tornadoes across the state, mostly in southern Wisconsin. Janesville and Rock County saw some of the strongest storms.
