WI Cities On Track for Freight Rail Improvements

Three Wisconsin cities are getting almost five-million dollars for freight rail improvements.

The state Department of Transportation says facilities in Luxemburg, Reedsburg, and Wrightstown will split the money through the Freight Railroad Infrastructure Improvement Program. Projects will include the construction of a new freight track, grain bin, and storage facilities. The DOT says this will result in hundreds of thousands of dollars of yearly savings at each of the three facilities.
