Friday Feel Good: A Job “Well” Done

In these dog days of Summer many families make memories through a vacation, maybe some pool trips, or the simple pleasure of a sprinkler and fresh strawberries. But in Menomonie, there will be a Summer memory that won’t soon be forgotten for a family whose dog accidentally fell down a dry well. 

We stay in our state for this story as you may have seen this on your Facebook scroll. A firefighter is getting some online attention after going into a well to rescue a dog. It happened in Menomonie on Monday.

The Menomonie Fire Department shared some pictures of the firefighter who rescued Rip the dog. Rip fell into a 30-foot-deep dry well, and couldn’t get out.
