A man is dead after an altercation outside a Madison bar.
The Madison Police Department says multiple people called 911 after hearing gunshots on the 1300 block of Williamson Street early Friday morning. Officers responded and found a 27-year-old man dead at the scene and dozens of shell casings in the street. Police believe the fight started inside the bar and spilled out into the street, and that the victim was targeted.
No arrests have been made and the suspect is still at large.
