On Wednesday 05/29/2024 at 5:30 P.M., the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office received a report of semi that had overturned with injury.
Upon arrival, investigation showed that the lone operator was traveling westbound on CTH N hauling approximately 5,500lbs of liquid manure, when they lost control of the semi while negotiating a curve in the roadway. As a result, the semi and trailer overturned. The operator who was not wearing a seat belt was partially ejected from the semi. Upon the arrival of first responders life saving measure were performed however the operator passed away at the scene.
