The group that wants to oust Wisconsin’s top Republican says it has enough signatures this time.
The Racine Recall organizers yesterday dropped-off eight thousand with the Wisconsin Elections Commission. They need just over 65 hundred valid signatures to force a recall election against Speaker Robin Vos. The same group failed in its first attempt to recall Vos earlier this spring. They not only fell short with the number of signatures, they also submitted hundreds of either fake signatures or signatures from people who cannot vote in Vos’ district.
Former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman is part of this second recall effort, he says there is plenty of support in Racine County for someone else to be their state representative.
