On Friday 05/17/2024 at approximately 6:36 P.M. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash on STH 29 near CTH J. While investigating the crash at approximately 7:00 P.M a Deputy and Patrol Sergeant were nearly struck by a vehicle that was unrelated to the crash. You can see the body cam footage below:
The Sheriff’s Office is using this as a safety reminder and asking that drivers please pay attention when traveling the roadway.
