We now have confirmation of tornados after the blast of severe weather that hit our area early this week.
The National Weather Service in Minneapolis yesterday confirmed tornadoes in Buffalo, Trempealeau, Marathon, and Clark counties. Forecasters also confirmed a small tornado in eastern Eau Claire County. None of the twisters were very strong, they were all EF1 tornadoes with top wind speeds between 90 and 105 miles-per-hour. There are no reports of any serious injuries from the tornadoes, though Tuesday’s storms did plenty of damage.
