The sheriff in Vernon County says alcohol likely played a role in a weekend crash that sent two people to the hospital.
It happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 14 in the Town of Franklin. Deputies say it looks like a man crossed the center line and hit a woman who was driving in the other lane.
