There’s been a guilty plea in the drunk driving crash that killed an Eau Claire man and his baby.
Former Superior police officer Gregory Swanson pleaded guilty to two charges of homicide by drunk driving yesterday. He resigned as an officer about a month after the crash back in 2021 that killed 23-year-old Michael Evans of Eau Claire. Evans’ baby died a few days later. Swanson is looking at 10 years in prison when he is sentenced in July.
