The man who killed a teenager and stabbed four others on the Apple River will learn his fate almost two-years-to-the-day after the crime.
A judge yesterday set Nic Miu’s sentencing for July 31st. He was convicted last week of killing a 17-year-old on the river in July of 2022. Miu says he acted in self defense, but prosecutors say Miu was the aggressor and started slashing with his knife. Miu is looking at 60 years in prison for reckless homicide.
