Madison is planting more than 13-hundred trees this spring.
The City of Madison says the trees come from 27 species selected by specialized arborists. The trees will be planted along city streets, including the isthmus. The City says residents who get new trees in front of their homes should follow the new tree care guide on the Urban Forestry website. Planting will continue through the end of April.
