A fallen western Wisconsin deputy will be remembered with her own stretch of highway.
Governor Tony Evers yesterday signed a new law designating a portion of Highway 128 as the Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway. Leising died in a shootout with a drunk driving suspect in May of last year. The governor says renaming the highway is a fitting way to honor her life and her legacy.
