Top performing high school students will earn direct admittance into the Universities of Wisconsin system.
The Wisconsin Guarantee will give automatic acceptance to UW-Madison for the top five percent of eleventh graders in the state. The top ten percent will get acceptance into the other twelve UW campuses. The program fulfills the requirements of a bill recently signed by Governor Tony Evers that requires a state guaranteed admission program. UW President Jay Rothman says it’ll help keep the best students in the state.
