It’s been said that lightning never strikes twice in the same place. Good thing for Powerball players, that concept does not apply to the Kwik Trip on 1223 E. Wisconsin St. in Portage. A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the Wisconsin retailer location for the Saturday, February 24 drawing. It is the second time in 25 days a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at the store.
The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (3-8-40-53-58) plus the Powerball (3).
