Dane County officials are entering a partnership to turn trash into natural gas.
Dane County Executive Joe Parisi announced yesterday that Kwik Trip will soon start selling fuel made from landfill trash. Parisi says the project will convert trash and cow manure from the Dane County landfill into compressed natural gas. That gas will then be sold at 35 Kwik Trip stations in the Midwest.
