Bloomer Police Chief Jared Zwiefelhofer is getting himself into more trouble.
According to the Department of Natural Resources, Zwiefelhofer has admitted to shooting and killing a wounded deer with his city-issued AR-style patrol gun. Zwiefelhofer has also admitted to using bait near a stand and operating a UTV with a loaded gun, charges he pleaded no contest to. Zwiefelhofer is stepping down as Chippewa County Board Chair next month but will stay on the board as a member.
