The robbery of a West Allis jeweler sounds like something out of a Hollywood script. Police say thieves cut the power at JP Haase before climbing on to the roof, breaking in, and walking out with 520 thousand-dollars worth of gold and jewels.
The robbery happened last September, the revelations are part of a newly unsealed warrant. Investigators say it appears the same crew tried something similar at a jeweler in Brookfield, but never went into the store. West Allis Police say there’s also a connection to a similar case in California. There have been no arrests yet.
