Just before 1:00am on Friday, January 12th, 2024, Officers from the Eau Claire Police Department responded to a disturbance where a person had been stabbed at a residence located in the 2500 block of Boardwalk Circle.
Officers arrived and quickly identify the suspect, Altherelle Robbins Jr (DOB:12/31/2001). He was taken into custody, and officers began to render medical aid to the victim until EMS units took over. The victim was transported to an area hospital for their injuries and is expected to survive.
Detectives responded to the scene and have completed interviews with involved parties and witnesses. Through the course of the investigation, it was learned that Robbins, a resident of the address, was involved in an argument with a family member that turned physical and led to the stabbing.
Robbins is currently being held in the Eau Claire County Jail on charges of:
– 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety — 941.30(1) – Domestic Enhancer
– Aggravated Battery — 940.19(5) – Domestic Enhancer
This was an isolated incident and no other people are being sought.
