A Dane County Deputy is hurt after two men attempted to flee from a traffic stop in the town of Black Earth.
Authorities say the deputy yesterday stopped a white Buick sedan believed to be involved in a fraud investigation on Highway 14. While he was trying to make contact with the two men in the vehicle, they drove away, hitting the deputy with the car. The suspects turned into the parking lot of Wisconsin Heights High School and both ran off before eventually being arrested. The injured deputy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
