Milwaukee Police are investigating a number of shootings yesterday that left five people wounded.
The first occurred yesterday before dawn at 37th and Glendale. The 41-year-old victim was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Another happened about two o-clock yesterday afternoon at Capitol and Appleton when a 31-year-old was shot and suffered non life-threatening injuries. And a double-shooting near 101st and Mill sent two people — a 25- and a 33-year-old — to the hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Two gunshot victims were found and one was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was rushed to a hospital where they were pronounced dead. Police have released no other details yet.
