There’s a new Wisconsin law aimed at streamlining absentee voting.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers signed the new law that people who want to vote absentee in the April 2024 presidential primaries will get their ballots 21 days early. Military or overseas voters will get their ballots 47 days before the primaries. County clerks say they were concerned this would confuse Wisconsinites since they may get a second absentee ballot for local primaries.
