The lawsuit over Wisconsin’s Trump-electors back in 2020 is over.
Ten Republicans yesterday agreed to a settlement that said their strategy of declaring Donald Trump the winner of the 2020 election in Wisconsin was used to try and overturn that election. The Republican electors, however, did not admit guilt or liability in the case. The settlement ends a two-and-a-half million-dollar lawsuit brought by the progressive law firm Law Forward. It remains to be seen if Wisconsin’s attorney general will file charges in the case. He has not filed charges yet, and continues to refuse to say if he will.
