Countdown is On, DNR Reminds Hunters of Safety

The DNR is reminding hunters about the rules for riding an ATV during the upcoming deer season.

The Department of Natural Resources says it remains illegal to shoot from an ATV, even if it is parked. The DNR says hunters must also unload their guns and bows while they are carrying them on an ATV. Bow season has already begun for Wisconsin deer hunters. Deer season begins on Saturday.
