State Sen. Jesse James, R-Altoona, will be the featured speaker on Thursday, Nov. 9, as the L.E. Phillips Senior Center holds a program to honor the sacrifices of all United States veterans.
The program will begin at 11 a.m. with remarks by James, a veteran. He served in the U.S. Army Air Defense from 1990-93 and the Army Reserves from 1993-96, including a deployment to the Persian Gulf.
