Wisconsin high school graduation rates show improvement over the last year. In a study released today by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, students in the class of 2018 graduated at an overall rate of 89-point-six-percent.
That’s a full point higher from 2016-17. However there are still troubling issues, including the graduation rate for economically disadvantaged students. In 2018 that rate was just over 80-percent, compared to a graduation rate over 94-percent for other students.
