On February 11, 2019 about 4:25 PM Dunn County Sheriff’s Department came across a motor vehicle that had sustained damage on CTH B north of 730 th ave in the Town of Tainter.
The investigation showed that a 1998 Buick was southbound on CTH B as the vehicle met an unknown medium sized, northbound straight truck a large chunk of snow and ice dislodged from the roof of the straight truck. The chunk of snow and ice then went through the windshield of the Buick causing minor injuries to the driver.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for everyone to slow down and take time to clean your vehicle off prior to traveling on the highways. In this case the driver sustained only minor injuries but it could have easily ended much worse.
