A vice president at Minnesota State University-Mankato will soon be leaving for a new job in Wisconsin.
Lynn Akey has been named chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Akey has been responsible for strategic planning at the Mankato college for the past decade and is credited with increasing student retention and graduation rates. She’ll begin her new job on January 2nd.
