Milwaukee was once again on the list for the US Marshals Service as part of its most recent sweep targeting violent criminals.
Operation North Star Three cleared just under three-thousand violent warrants during the past three months, according to the Marshals Service. Investigators say they took 555 guns off the street, as well as a-million dollars in cash and a whole lot of illegal drugs. The Marshals are not saying just how much of that came out of Milwaukee/Operation North Star began in July of 2022 and since then the Marshals say they’ve arrested nearly seven-thousand wanted violent criminals.
