A Wisconsin family is suing Darrell Brooks and their own insurance company years after a deadly incident nearly two years ago.
It was November 21st, 2021 during the Waukesha Christmas parade when Darrell Brooks drove his SUV into a crowd, killing six and injuring dozens more. Now, a civil suit was filed on behalf of the Garcia Ramirez family citing “extreme emotional distress.” The family is seeking hundreds of thousands of dollars, saying their insurance company only paid a quarter of what they were owed per their policy covering uninsured drivers.
