A judge will decide if Wisconsin’s elections administrator gets to keep her job.
The State Senate yesterday voted to remove Meagan Wolfe from the Wisconsin Elections Commission. Every Republican voted to fire her, while every Democrat voted against it. Republicans say Wolfe needs to go because of how she handled the 2020 election, and because she refused to speak to senators about her job performance.
Minutes after the Senate vote, Wisconsin’s attorney general filed a lawsuit to keep Wolfe at the Elections Commission. Wolfe told reporters yesterday that she will not bend to political pressure.
