UW Schools See Bump In Students

Enrollment in the University of Wisconsin System is up from last year–the first growth since 2014.

This fall, more than 50-thousand students are going to classes at UW-Madison–a nearly 700 student increase from last fall. It’s despite a nearly 8-percent drop in first-year students in Madison. Excluding UW Madison, freshman enrollment across the system grew by 3 percent.
