On Saturday, August 12, 2023, at approximately 04:25 a.m., the Menomonie Police Department responded the area of Wilson Avenue and 13th Street South for the report of a motor vehicle crash. Upon investigation, officers learned that the vehicle had been stolen.
At approximately 06:08 a.m., the Menomonie Police Department received reports of several more motor
vehicle thefts throughout various locations in the City of Menomonie. In total, four vehicles were stolen
from the City of Menomonie and all were later recovered, with most of them being located in areas of
close proximity to where a new vehicle was then stolen. Officers also located several damaged vehicles
and took reports of property damage to fields, the stolen vehicles, and criminal damage to other parked
vehicles.
The Menomonie Police Department would like to thank the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance with the investigations. Three suspects were taken into custody and face multiple charges. The
Menomonie Police Department is grateful for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects.
