A 33-year-old man has his trial date set in a case involving the death of his three-month-old daughter.
Haugen resident Curtis Strand will stand trial on June 17th on a first-degree reckless homicide charge in the death of Haeven Strand-Dostal in 2017. The girl died of a head injury and Strand claims she fell off his knee and hit the floor but a medical examiner says her injury required more force than that. Strand is facing up to 25 years in prison.
