It could be a while before authorities know what caused that train in Dodge County to jump the tracks.
Wisconsin Railroad Commissioner Don Vruwink yesterday said investigators can only speculate at this time. He said the investigation will be slow because there are only so many people in the state who can handle these types of cases. No one was hurt when 29 train cars derailed Tuesday.
The cars weren’t carrying anything hazardous, but crews say they tore up the tracks and caused quite a mess.
