It was a warm and dry June in Madison.
The National Weather Service says the average temperature was nearly a degree above normal. Madison also saw over four fewer inches of rain than normal in June, the sixth-driest June on record. Madison saw just over an inch of rain last month and over half of that came in one day, June 1st.
