Animals Moved In

News | June 29, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy
Animals Moved In

Milwaukee County’s zoo is the latest to have to deal with the smoky air.

The zoo yesterday said it moved some animals inside to avoid the poor air quality. Zookeepers say just about every animal but the giraffes has been moved inside until the air clears. Yesterday was better, but forecasters say Milwaukee and southeast Wisconsin spent the entire day under an air quality warning. The zoo said some animals may be back outside later today.
