The final person charged with killing an 11-year-old Madison girl back in 2020 has pleaded guilty.
Jerry Ward pleaded guilty yesterday to first-degree reckless homicide as a party to a crime charges. He was in the car when another man opened fire on 11-year-old Anisa Scott’s father, but hit her instead. Ward was 17-years-old at the time. Prosecutors are asking for a 20-year sentence as part of the plea agreement. Ward’s sentencing date has not yet been set.
