Add nine shootings and one murder to Milwaukee’s 2023 tally.
Police in the city say nine people were shot between Friday afternoon and last night. One of those people, a 23-year-old man, died in a shooting on Saturday. Saturday also saw a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old wounded. Friday’s shooting sent a 17-year-old to the hospital. Milwaukee Police say they made a couple of arrests in the cases.
