Wisconsin’s attorney general says three cases have been made from his hotline for clergy sex abuse claims.
A-G Josh Kaul yesterday said prosecutors last week filed formal charges in two cases, and formalized accusations against a third, now-deceased priest. Kaul opened his abuse hotline two years ago. Since then, he said nearly 250 survivors have called in with reports of abuse. Almost all of them are old — decades-old in some cases. Kaul said he intends to wrap-up his probe soon, but he’s not saying just when that will be.
