Wisconsin lawmakers are scheduled to take the first step today toward banning a ban on gas stoves.
The Assembly’s Committee on State Affairs has a hearing scheduled for later this afternoon on a plan that would regulate ‘restrictions on the sale or use of a device based on its energy source.’ The pan is from Clinton state Rep. Ellen Schutt, and comes after several cities or states have opened the door to bans on gas stoves. The Biden Administration is even looking at regulations that would push people away from cooking with gas.
