WI Man Connected to Casino Explosives

A man from New Berlin is looking at charges after leaving two homemade bombs in the parking deck at the Potawatomi Casino.

Police say they caught 48-year-old Dennis Beard on tape leaving two bottles of Muriatic Acid and aluminum foil in the parking garage at the casino on Sunday. One exploded, the other simply smoked. No one was hurt, and there are no reports of serious damage. Police say they found more Muriatic Acid in Beard’s car and home. Prosecutors are pushing ahead with possession of improvised explosives charges.
