The latest question-and-answer session in Wisconsin’s race for the Supreme Court featured just one candidate.
Liberal judge Janet Protasiewicz skipped yesterday’s forum hosted by the Milwaukee Press Club. Conservative former Supreme Court Justice Dan Kelly said it’s the latest opportunity to speak to voters that Protasiewicz has ignored. He accused her of hiding from her record of not sentencing people to jail. Protasiewicz’s campaign says yesterday’s Q&A simply didn’t fit into their schedule. Wisconsin’s race for the Supreme Court is the most expensive in US history. Voters will make their decision in three weeks.
