A man from Osseo is accused of multiple crimes around Eau Claire including cashing a dead woman’s checks.
A criminal complaint says 47-year-old Scott Miller was caught in Eau Claire with his front and rear license plates not matching earlier this month. After being stopped, Miller was accused of committing gas skips and was allegedly found a rifle and marijuana inside the car. He’s also suspected of stealing checks from a woman who had passed away. He’s facing up to 23 years in prison.
