The top Republican in the Wisconsin Assembly is once again talking about tolls.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos yesterday told reporters he will look at adding tolls to Wisconsin’s interstates as a way to pay for road maintenance and construction. Vos has talked about a tollway system in Wisconsin for years, but has never found enough support to make it happen. Vos, yesterday, said he’s open to the idea but doesn’t think the governor and other Republican lawmakers are ‘there yet.’
