Authorities in Kenosha say a drug bust last Friday looks to have broken up an illegal dog breeding business as well.
Kenosha County’s sheriff, along with local police, and the local drug unit raided a home in Kenosha Friday to make the bust. They found a suspect with cocaine, heroin, marijuana, and thousands of dollars in cash. They also found 23 dogs at the man’s home, many of them are puppies. Prosecutors are moving ahead with drug charges against the suspect, Kenosha’s community service officers are looking into the dog breeding operation.
