A Madison man is accused of robbing the same UW Credit Union branch twice in eight days.
Forty-eight-year-old Reo Covington was charged in Dane County Court on Friday. He’s accused of holding up the UW Credit Union on Northport Drive near Troy Drive on the mornings of January 26th and February 2nd. Tellers told police that in both robberies a man later identified as Covington slid them a note demanding money. Both times, the tellers complied and the holdup man got away before police arrived.
